Iconic Boxer Muhammad Ali Dead at 74

3 time world heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali passed away June 3rd from respiratory issues and complications related to his Parkinson’s Disease in Phoenix, AZ. With a record of 56-5 over a 21 year professional career including 37 knockouts, Ali will be sorely missed in the boxing world and go down in history as one of the greatest to ever fight. Formally known as Cassius Clay, not only was Muhammad Ali a tremendous athlete, but also an outspoken and passionate individual who fought for the liberation of African Americans. Ali once said: “I would like to be remembered as a man who won the heavyweight title three times, who was humorous and who treated everyone right.” The picture below certainly displays his sense of humor. He will be buried in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.
